THE BEGINNING
Established 1904 by Harry F. Blair originally located at 730 Coney Island
Avenue, as a Family Owned and Operated Funeral Home. We continue to serve the
public in all areas of Funeral Arrangements/Preparations.
In the 1940's Harry F. Blair retired, passing ownership to his son Harry F.
Blair, Jr., who continued to run the business until his death in 1970.
THE TRANSITION
The business was then passed to Thomas G. Blair, grandson to the original owner,
who continued to run the business until 1988, at which time James Donofrio and
the Mazzarella's purchased the business and continued to run the funeral home in
the tradition of a family owned business. At this time the name was changed to
the Blair-Mazzarella Funeral Home.
In 1995, Joann D'Agnese joined the firm, as a licensed funeral director. She
continues to be a part of the family and is manager of the firm.
TODAY
In 2001 James Donofrio became sole owner and presently maintains the name
